Welfare month opens with mega Blood donations


Mega blood donation Campaigns commemorated by Dera Sacha Sauda at multiple locations across India.



August being the incarnation month of His Holiness Baba Ram Rahim Ji, this month is celebrated with a deluge of welfare activities by the followers. And initiating the long series of welfare activities, Dera Followers organised twin Blood donation drives at Mumbai, Maharashtra, and Barnawa, UP. On Sunday, 4th August Thousands of units of Blood was collected on this occasion. Followers from far and wide-flung the camps to donate their precious Blood. Volunteers traveled for days in advance to be a part of this Campaign. Where this count was close to 2600 in Barnawa ashram and close to 200 in Mumbai. These Campaigns are an USP of Dera Sacha Sauda. Initiated by His Holiness Baba Ram Rahim Ji, almost 2 decades back, lacs of units of Blood has been donated till date. And Dera Sacha Sauda has bagged close to half a dozen World Records in the field of Blood donation alone.

The Blood donation Campaigns were initiated at sharp 9 AM and they were on till evening at both locations. After the prayer and chanting of holy slogan, the camp was initiated with teams of Blood banks and doctors visited the campus, and started the process, after registering the donors. It was a very special occasion for Mumbai volunteers, as it was the first time in several years that the campaign was held. Last campaign took place in 2006. Barnawa on the other hand has Blood donation Campaigns frequently and thousands donate their blood in these camps following the teachings of Saint Ram Rahim Ji.


Baba Ram Rahim Ji has taught how donating Blood is good for the human body, as it infuses a fresh lease of Blood in the donor. It is because of his awareness drives in Satsangs, that people have realised how donating blood regularly is a win-win situation, as apart from saving lives, we are helping our bodies too, to work better.
